What Do We Do?

We promote Egyptian dance and music as highly developed art forms and produce performances that are authentic and rooted in tradition, whilst developing the potential of Egyptian dance and music in a theatrical context, enhanced by a contemporary style of presentation. 

We see live music as essential to the authentic expression of Egyptian dance and aim to develop both music and dance as interrelated. 

We offer high quality training for both musicians and dancers and aim to develop the potential of dancers and musicians working together.

We offer workshops for musicians and dancers alongside performances and aim to train male as well as female dancers. 

While preserving authenticity we are open to exploring new developments so that the tradition continues to live and grow.
